Rangers With A Nice Win Last Night Without Hank

Boston may not be an elite team this year, but any time you knock off the B’s it’s a good feeling. But honestly it’s something we should expect out of the defending Eastern Conference champs even without Henrik Lundvquist between the pipes.

The goals: 1-0 NYR — Nash assisted by St. Louis and Kevin Klein (this guy has stepped up huge for the Rags this season and they’re gonna need his steady production level to stay consistent)

Boston goals we don’t care about.

2-2 — Derrick Brassard went snipe city for the equalizer

3-2 — Derek Stepan with three minutes left in the second, a lead the Ranger wouldn’t relinquish the rest of the way.

As for the Hank injury, there’s no way we should hit the panic button. It’s listed as day-to-day, Hank is God #2 in this town behind ODB, and Cam Talbot is one of the best backups in the league.

It’d be nice to see the Rangers get on a roll here, stay hot, and make the same run into the playoffs.
