It wasn’t a crazy wild card weekend so we’ll get through this nice and fast. Let’s get right into it:
Panthers 27- Cardinals 16
In the end, it was just too much Ryan Lindley. There’s no way the Cardinals could keep losing QB’s and keep winning games. Who knows what would’ve happened had Carson Palmer stayed healthy all year, but the road for the Cardinals ends here. On the other side, the Panthers looked a lot better than I thought they were. The Panthers seem like they can be the Giants of a couple years ago. They had a disaterous start, but then get hot right before the playoffs. They haven’t lost since November and head into Seattle with the most important thing in the NFL Playoffs, momentum.
Q: Hey Cam are you nervous about taking on the Cardinals?
Who the hell is foxy Whitaker?
This pretty much sums up the night for the Cardinals
Baltimore 30- Pittsburgh 17
The night cap of Saturday was about as interesting as the afternoon game. The Steelers hung around for a while but in the end they showed that their offense just couldn’t overcome losing Le’Veon Bell. Also, we learned that Baltimore is lethal come playoff time. Jim Harbaugh gets most of the attention when it comes to these two brothers, but John is quietly the brother with the most success. He’s got the super bowl ring and a 9-4 record in the playoffs. The Patriots better look out on Saturday, because the Ravens are dangerous come January.
Look everybody! A buttfumble!
Indianapolis 26- Bengals 10
Another year, another first round exit for the Bengals. Andy Dalton proves he’s one of the most overrated Quarterbacks in the league yet again, and Marvin Lewis will somehow still comeback for like a 50th season without ever winning a playoff game (I actually think Rex in Cincinnati would be a good fit but that’s just me). The Colts march on to Denver for another Peyton vs Luck matchup that will be talked about endlessly this week. I don’t know why, but I just refuse to buy into the Colts. They’re a fine team, I just don’t see them as a legit playoff threat.
Here’s the difference between why Andy Dalton can’t command a playoff team. Just compare the two pre game speeches
Best part of the day was hands down the bald eagle cam
Cowboys 24- Lions 20
They did it! They won a playoff game! what do you think about that Cowboys Fans!!!
To be honest, I didn’t watch to much of this game. I don’t know why but I=nothing about this one really enticed me. Of course, this turns out to be the best game of the weekend when I don’t watch but whatever. Good for Tony Romo, I’ve always liked him and never thought he deserves the blame he gets in Dallas. Now they get to go have their asses handed to them by the Packers in Green Bay where Tony will throw like 5 picks.
best vine of the weekend hands down:
So there ya go. I expect the divisional round to be much more competitive and exciting. I think every team is beatable. Right now the lines are at:
