Mangold elected to the Pro Bowl. Geno gets snubbed

Nick Mangold was the sole Jet elected to the pro bowl Wednesday, something that should be expected from this 3-12 disaster of a team. Mangold has been a Pro Bowl Center year after year and has even made the All-Pro team a few times. Mangold’s one of the classiest guys in the league and a real pro. When he got injured on Sunday, he got applause from both sidelines because of the respect that he’s garnered throughout his career. Our offensive line is a total joke, but at least we always have Mangold to steady the ship.

In other news, Geno Smith was snubbed yet again.

I know, I can’t believe it either. According to him, he’s shown flashes of being a pro bowl quarterback. Just look at the stats! 58% completion percentage, 2,167 yards, 10 touchdown, 13 interceptions. If those aren’t pro bowl numbers, I don’t know what are. He’s a top 5 QB in the league, why does he have to buy his own ticket to Hawaii? Total malarkey.

Oh yea, and this guy named Sheldon Richardson didn’t get the invite even though he’s the best Defensive Tackle in football. Whatever.
