New York City is supposedly some to 850 people who are 164 years or older.

NY Post–A single Bronx voter listed in official records as being 164 years old led Board of Elections officials to review their files — where they turned up another 849 New Yorkers who were supposedly alive when Abe Lincoln was president.

The stunning discovery came after The Post reported last week that the birth date of Luz Pabellon, a spry 73-year-old who has been living and voting in The Bronx since the 1970s, was recorded as Jan. 1, 1850.

This week, a search of the records in all five boroughs found 849 more voters with the same wacky birth date.

Board officials chalked up the implausible age snafu to previous practices that allowed residents not to provide their exact birthdays when registering to vote.

Some of the new voters — mostly women — simply wrote that they were “21+” — above the legal voting age.

I remember when I was a sprightly young, 164 year old man living in New York City. My whole life ahead of me, sky is the limit. Scootering around the city like I owned the place. You know what they say, age is just a number right?

How great would it be if this was real though. I got into a legit argument with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago because she thought that it was impossible for somebody to live into their 120s or 130s and I was saying that they find people all the time in like the mountains of south america who are like 135 years old because all they’ve done every day of their life is just eat rice, drink water and walk miles on end. So if this could prove me right, if there were 850 people just chillin in the city rocking birth certificates dating back 7 score and 14 years ago that would be so awesome. I’m a firm believer that between now and the time i’m poking death with a stick, there will be people living well into their 100s. I’m not saying I personally want to, I’m looking for a timely check-out, but there will be Ebola survivors everywhere just casually walking the streets at 110-120.
